The entire complex is encased in an impenetrable electrified dome, sealing the player, survivors, and The Red Swarm within. As a result, time becomes a critical factor, as the player races against the clock to eliminate the threat before it spills beyond the confines of the facility and wreaks havoc on the world.

Players will assume the role of a Blood Engine soldier, activated by a science engineer just moments before his demise. Suddenly finding themselves trapped in the infected military complex, the player must navigate the treacherous terrain, battling hordes of biomechanical adversaries, while also rescuing survivors and restoring power and control.
